An avid fan of Chanel, Diane Kruger attended the 80th anniversary party of Chanel Fine Jewelry in New York yesterday evening. The event, which was graced by other A-list guests like supermodel Linda Evangelista and Hollywood darling Blake Lively, was held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the 'Bijoux Die Diamants' collection, which was created by Mademoiselle Chanel herself.
Diane Kruger wore a blue strapless knee-length shift dress from Chanel's Spring 2013 collection and Christian Louboutin 'Pigalle' pumps. To add a pop of color, Diane carried a yellow satin clutch.
I admire Diane's style a lot (especially on the red carpet), but this look rather underwhelmed me. It's ill-fitting and the length was awkward. She could've worked it better if she wore it about 3 inches shorter.
Her makeup was flawless, as usual, and that deserves some applause.
